Communication Tools

The National Committee on Evidence-Based Benefit Design seeks to engage employees in health care decisions by educating them about variability in health care quality and about scientific evidence relating to specific conditions, treatments or procedures. The ideal is to encourage both healthy lifestyles and healthy decisions at the point of care.

Communication tools:

  1. Recommend to employees what specific actions they can take to enhance the safety and effectiveness of their care; and
  2. Plug into communication vehicles employers already use.
